Keep Members Grouped
When you have multiple dimensions on a row or column and you sort on the innermost dimension, you can decide whether to keep the row or column sort results grouped together.
The member grouping options are only available for SAP acquired data models and SAP HANA live data connections.
The grouping status (Keep Left Columns Grouped, Keep Top Rows Grouped) can only be changed in the following situations:
-
You've selected the dimension header of an inner row or column dimension.
-
Ascending or descending sort has been applied.
-
Hierachies are set to Flat presentation.
Example: Grouping Option Enabled or Disabled
In the following examples, the phrase regarding member grouping refers to both options: Keep Left Columns Grouped and Keep Top Rows Grouped.
