Create Custom Group Hierarchies (Specifics for SAP BW)
When working with SAP BW live data sources, you can create custom group hierarchies in your SAP Analytics Cloud story.
If the SAP BW live data that you're working with doesn't have a hierarchy that is organized in the way that you'd like, you can create your own custom group hierarchies in your story.
You can create several custom group hierarchies.
Custom group hierarchies (custom groupings) are not supported in the following widgets or situations.
-
Time series charts
-
Variables
-
Secondary structure dimensions
-
BW dimensions that don't support hierarchies (as an extension)
-

-
Copying a page or widget using custom groupings to a different story
-
Updates to custom hierarchy definition will not update story object references of hierarchy
-
A deleted custom hierarchy definition can't be recovered
