Remove Second Structure from Axis (Specifics for SAP BW)
When using an SAP BW query with two structures in SAP Analytics Cloud, in certain situations you can remove the second structure.
This feature is only available in the optimized story experience.
For some widgets and features in a story, you can remove the second structure when the structure is filtered to contain only one structure member. The following information describes how different features will behave after you remove the second structure.
Remove Second Structure from a Table
The second structure can be removed from the table rows or columns when there is exactly one filter member on that structure.
You can use any method to create a filter that contains only one member: story filter, widget filter, or builder panel.
Remove Second Structure from a Chart
The second structure can be removed from the chart dimensions when there is exactly one filter member on that structure.
Remove Second Structure from a Reference Line
As long as the second structure is in a filter but not on an axis, it can be removed from the reference line.
Remove Second Structure from a Hierarchy
If you select a parent node in a hierarchy, the second structure is applied because the child nodes are automatically selected. However, if you select a child node, the second structure can be removed from the axis.
