Use the Calendar to Organize Your Collaborative Planning Processes

Use the SAP Analytics Cloud calendar to keep track of tasks in your planning processes, stay on schedule, and collaborate with your team. Create, assign, and work on tasks, and add files, approval workflows, and processes that link tasks together.

Create multiple tasks at once using recurrence, or generate tasks and processes automatically based on model data. You can also use the calendar to schedule data locks, data actions, or multi actions, and to view your input tasks.

You can change the dates of calendar events, stop, resend, reopen, or copy them, change the event type, or use filters to limit the number of events displayed in the calendar workspace you're using. You can use discussions to communicate with people you involved in a calendar event, and if needed you can export your calendar tasks to another calendar outside SAP Analytics Cloud. As assignee or reviewer you work on the task given in a calendar event. You can view your calendar events in the Calendar or List workspace, and use filters to limit the number of events displayed in the calendar workspace you're using. In certain scenarios, you can change the event type. You can use discussions to communicate with people involved in a calendar event, and if needed you can export your calendar tasks to another calendar outside SAP Analytics Cloud. Access your story or analytic application from the SAP Analytics Cloud calendar or an email notification, and finish your work from within the story or analytic application. Learn how you can set up a workflow to complete your monthly forecast planning in the SAP Analytics Cloud calendar. Learn how assignees and reviewers work together in SAP Analytics Cloud calendar tasks to enter, submit and review data for a monthly forecast. Learn how you can model the workflow for a top-down budget in the SAP Analytics Cloud calendar, and collect the budget data. To change the event type, you can convert your SAP Analytics Cloud calendar events. This lets you quickly adapt your calendar events to your changing needs while modelling your workflows.
