Grouped Category Statistics

Analyze how the categories influence the target.

Grouped Category Statistics show the details of how the grouped categories influence the target variable over the selected data source.

As a default view, a scatter plot is displayed:
  • The X Axis displays the target mean:
    • For a nominal target, the target mean is the frequency of positive cases for the target variables contained in the data source.
    • For a continuous target, the target mean is the average of the target variable for the category in the data source.
  • The Y Axis displays the frequency of the grouped category in the selected data source.

You can use the Validation and Prediction dropdown list to compare the results obtained by the predictive model (training subset) and the one obtained on validation (validation subset).
