Live Data Restrictions for Search to Insight

• The available indexed metadata (dimension and measure names, and dimension members) for all users is determined by the data access security of the user who indexed the model.
• Visualizations based on indexed data will respect individual user access rights.

• You can now index live models up to a 5 million member capacity.
  Note

  Tenant capacity for all indexed models is 500 million members.

• Indexing is based on the flat representation of data. Index results do not account for hierarchies.
• Models containing two-structure dimensions are not supported.

After indexing a model containing variables, the query interpretation will be based on those variables. The variable values cannot be modified when using Search to Insight. For example, a dynamic date variable will effectively be static as any visualizations rendered will be using the indexed variable values.
