SAP Digital Boardroom

Screen Recommend 1920 x 1080 screen resolution or higher. Maximum supported resolution for each screen is 4K resolution (3840 x 2160).

For multiple screen support, all screens must be the same resolution.

Recommended Hardware Options

SAP Digital Boardroom runs best in Google Chrome, on a PC with a dedicated video card equivalent in performance to an nVidia GTX 1060 or higher. Complex tiles like maps will load faster with at least 4 GB of video RAM, plus at least 8 GB of system RAM.

Digital Boardroom can run at 1080p on most recent PC hardware with a dedicated video card.

When the screens are connected to a Windows 10 or higher PC, SAP Digital Boardroom is known to be compatible with screens from vendors including Microsoft, LGE, Samsung, Benq, Maxhub, Planar, Sharp, and Lang AG. Specific screen models are not tested by SAP, and rely on the display and touch drivers included with Windows.

For information about different screen setups and how to configure them, see Setting Up Displays for Digital Boardroom.

Smart Predict

Recommendations:

To maintain adequate system performance, each tenant of SAP Analytics Cloud utilizing Smart Predict features, should use no more than 50 node hours per month for the purpose of generating predictive models or applying predictive models to new datasets. Exceeding this may result in performance degradation.

A node hour is defined as the number of hours (rounded up to the nearest hour) of infrastructure resources which are dedicated to the generation or application of machine learning models in SAP Analytics Cloud. The duration of all machine learning model training and scoring workloads in a given month shall be computed and rounded to the nearest hour to determine total node hours per month.

Smart Predict on live SAP HANA

  • Smart Predict on live SAP HANA is included with the 2019 Q4 quarterly release of SAP Analytics Cloud. It is now possible to connect Smart Predict to SAP HANA tables and SQL views.
  • Smart Predict Live currently works today against on-premise SAP HANA.
  • Regarding SAP BW on HANA and SAP BW/4HANA customers, please note:
    • SAP wants to make it possible for SAP BW customers to benefit from Smart Predict capabilities.
    • It is intended that Smart Predict will initially support SAP BW using calculation views. However, as Smart Predict does not support calculation views today and because SAP BW customers with SAP HANA runtime licenses do not have the right to create tables or SQL views directly, it is not possible for SAP BW customers on HANA Runtime licenses to use Smart Predict today.
    • SAP BW customers with SAP HANA Enterprise Edition or SAP HANA Prediction Option licenses have the right to create table & SQL views. Smart Predict on live SAP HANA can be used by these customers from Q4 2019.
